Daniele Ricci

Daniele Ricci was born in Genoa in 1962. He lives and works in Donoratico. He approaches art as a self-taught and today is his great passion. Ricci’s painting is a rapid and jet painting, capable of transferring the impulsiveness, sensitivity and strength of the painter to the canvas. With his paintings he wants to rekindle emotions, sensations and feelings to make them eternal. Each work reveals its way of stopping time; observing one remembers that moment that made him feel alive. Dynamic works, vibrant and throbbing with life, where the eye does not grasp the single detail but the extraordinary unity of vision, always multiform and engaging. Ricci takes up the impressionist aesthetic: a quick execution, without preliminary drawing, without retouching and nuances. The foundation of his painting is the study of light and color. Daniele Ricci creates Tuscan paintings of various subjects: panoramas of cities, countryside and seaside villages, all characterized by unusual views and colored shadows. A theme very dear to the artist, that the BV Art Gallery offers exclusively, the Palio di Siena and its horses, whose speed and excitement he manages to convey thanks to the use of large brush strokes and the combination of pure and bright colors. During his career, the artist has exhibited in many Italian and foreign cities, becoming part of numerous public and private collections.
