was born in Castagneto Carducci in 1953, right in the center of that gentle Tuscany that his italian landscape art, love so much to reproduce. It is there that he lives and works still now, in an old church desecrated and turned to his atelier. The landscape around him – which is inextricably linked – is his constant source of inspiration. Son of the Tuscan land, he doesn’t owe his career to academic studies or to art books. A long and accurate internal search led him to exteriorize that living sensibility that sticks out in works that represent that beloved land. The spontaneity of his works is reflected in the immediate freshness that they express, with an outcome of engaging lyricism recalling around them a growing approval. During his fourty years of activity, Fabrizio Filippi has exhibited his tuscany paintings in many Italian and foreign cities, becoming part of several public and private collections.
